The guys at Maple Grove Enterprises have been working their butts off lately. A few months ago, Rochester sculptor Albert Paley challenged us once again to fabricate and erect his work. Last time, it was one sculpture that graces the front of the Clay Center in Charleston, WV. This time, it’s four huge sculptures that will guard the four corners of the 24th Street Bridge in Council Bluffs, IA.
Each of the sculptures is first fabricated and then erected at Maple Grove Enterprises. After each one is completed, it is disassembled to make room for the next monumental piece. Finally, all the sculptures will be shipped to Council Bluffs to be erected again by the Maple Grove Enterprises crew.
