Fabricator/Welder
Reports To: Working Foreman
Department: Welding
Summary: Sets up, operates and monitors equipment used for metal
fabricating and welding by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties
may also be assigned.
- Sets up metal fabricating equipment as needed.*
- Performs metal fabricating duties using own tools (including
scales, hand tools, calipers, and micrometers) to include: a)
Ensuring traceable material is being used. b) Selecting appropriate
cutting equipment. c) Handworking honeycomb materials. d) Assembling
sheet metal materials*
- Applies knowledge of assembly to perform sheet metal fabrication.*
- Operates metal fabricating equipment each day according to engineering/
customer specifications and requirements.*
- Sets up and operates stick welding machines to repair, join
or fabricate parts by working with blueprints, sketches or verbal
orders.*
- Reads and interprets blueprints.*
- Monitors equipment and performs routine maintenance as needed.*
- Performs onsite welding/fabrication at customer locations as
needed.*
- Applies knowledge of proper chemical usage and disposes of all
chemicals in a safe and proper manner in accordance with company
policy.*
- Logs the amount of materials used and time worked for each job
in logbook.*
- Assists in scheduling work load and recommends tooling needs
to save time.*
- Trains less experienced employees in set up and quality production
standards.*
- Complies with company policies and procedures paying special
attention to safety regulations.*
- Operates fork lift following company safety procedures.*
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area on a daily basis.*

Job Title: Paint Shop Technician

Department: Painting
Summary: Performs all assigned painting
duties in a professional manner by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs inside and outside painting duties in a productive
manner to include: -preparing paint by mixing components accurately
-preparing surfaces before painting -applying specified coatings
of paint.*
- Utilizes standard paint equipment such as conventional and
airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, brushes, rollers and
other related equipment.*
- Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure
acceptable application.*
- Grinds and sands surfaces of various materials.*
- Applies special materials to equipment, parts, and/or vehicles
to include paints, undercoats, primer coats, sealers, topcoats
and caulks in accordance with original manufacturer standards
of quality.*
- Wears appropriate safety equipment to include fresh air spray
masks, paint suits, safety eyewear, safety gloves and head coverings.*
- Uses equipment according to safety guidelines to include exhaust
fans, heaters, compressed air systems, spray guns and paint mixing
machines.*
- Reads material safety data sheets and other reading materials
to stay current on safety issues and paint technology.*
- Logs the amount of materials used for each job in logbook.*
- Moves equipment, parts, and/or vehicles within shop area as
jobs are completed.*
- Reports and documents in log book any malfunctions of shop
equipment to supervisor immediately.*
- Reports to management when work is completed and/or if there
are problems/discrepancies with the jobs.*
- Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner.*
- Maintains inventory and notifies Supervisor of any stock shortages.*
- Performs all activities in accordance with all federal, state
and local laws and regulations.*
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures, paying special
attention to health and/or safety procedures.*
- Disposes of residual materials appropriately.*
- Assists with the training of apprentices.*

Summary: Responsible for relaying incoming
telephone calls with accuracy, greeting visitors and sending them
to the appropriate employee, and performing various clerical duties
accurately.
Duties and Responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may also be assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality in regards to employee and company
information.*
- Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages,
and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient
manner.
- Greet and screen incoming visitors in a professional manner
and promptly notify appropriate person of their arrival.
- File company paperwork accurately.
- Computer literate - Navigation of Microsoft Office (and Quickbooks
recommended).
- Develop maximum sales potential of customers through good customer
service techniques and knowledge of company's products and services.
Asking questions and creating sales.
- Packages: make sure they are received properly (so others know
the correct quantity of what was received). Deliver to the appropriate
person promptly.
- Prepare outgoing mail using postage meter. Add postage.
- Operate standard office equipment.
- Monitor fax machine and direct incoming documents. Send outgoing
faxes as directed.
- Type correspondence and memos in proper format, proofread, and
send as assigned.
- Inventory and order office supplies and safety supplies as needed.
- General office and restroom cleaning.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
