Replace Belt, Buckets and Spouts at Feed Mill
Maple Grove Enterprises was hired by a feed mill in central Pennsylvania to replace spouts and a worn belt and buckets in the receiving leg. All the work was performed from a Friday through Sunday to have the mill up and running by 3:00 am Monday morning. Contact Us for all your millwright needs! We were called in to replace old spouting on a feed mill in Lebanon, PA. |
The old spouting was rusting in numerous spots. |

Moisture penetrated the old UHMW liners causing the steel to rust and the feed to get hung up. |

Meanwhile, a second crew bolts Maxi-Lift HD-Max buckets onto a new belt for the main receiving leg. |
600 buckets were bolted to 440 feet of belt.

The new belt is spliced to the old belt and pulled through the receiving leg. |

For smooth grain flow, we inserted angle rings at 22½° turns. |

We fabricated plates that were fastened to the roof and sealed with silicone. |
