Pump Rebuilding and Fluid Enhancement
One of our customers had some water pumps that were in service for 15 years. They were heavily corroded and pitted on the inside and showed significant wear. Maple Grove Enterprises takes significant care to rebuild the pumps:
- We went onsite and removed the pumps
- We then brought them to our facility and disassembled them
- They were sandblasted inside and out
- Fluid enhancement coating was applied to interior, including the impeller
- We balanced the impeller
- The pumps were reassembled with new bearings and seals
- We applied zinc primer to the outside
- We then applied 140 mils of ceramic insulation coating to the exterior to prevent condensation
- We top-coated the pumps to match the original green color
- Finally, we reinstalled and tested them
